The Guardian reports that hawking is a unique phenomenon that arose out of the need to solve societal problems such as unemployment, poverty, and consumer goods accessibility.

It is a booming informal sector that has proved resilient despite various governmental efforts aimed at eradicating it.

Although the act is banned in most places, traders have resorted to this mode, taking goods directly to their customers.

An Instagram user, Ghostblogger, shared the clip on the social media platform with the caption:

“This boy go too explain taya! He watch ball so tey him loose guard him market.”

His followers have stormed the comment section. One said:

“E be like na from d seller clothes dem sew socks give dat guy oo.”

Another added:

“Why his clothes match with the other guy socks.”

A funny guy wrote:

“How he go explain say market just miss from his head.”

One commented:

“Only legend can understand, with that clothes on his head it still feel there is load on his head, even sometimes wen you get home you will still remove the load and the clothe it we still look like you had load on your head, if you really hawk you will understand.”
