Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted expressing his frustration to the referee during Al-Nassr's AFC Champions League group opener against Persepolis on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo, who has been in exceptional form for the Knights of Najd, voiced his dissatisfaction with the match official regarding an incident that occurred in the first half.
The 38-year-old was left limping after a 50-50 challenge with a Persepolis defender. While attempting to flick the ball mid-air, his opponent tried to intercept and disrupt the Portuguese maestro's intentions.
However, they both ended up colliding feet, with the defender's tackle - seen as slightly late - leaving the Al-Nassr captain feeling the impact. He managed to shake it off but was briefly hobbled.

A bewildered Ronaldo is said to have queried the official's call, as translated from the post on social media:
"He almost broke my leg and you didn’t give him a yellow card."
Despite Ronaldo's four-game scoring streak for Al-Nassr coming to an end in the AFC Champions League clash, his team still secured a 2-0 victory.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Al-Nassr securing victory over Persepolis to successfully launch their AFC Champions League clash on September 19.
Second-half strikes from Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Mohammed Qassem were more than enough to help the Knights of Najd secure a 2-0 win in Tehran.
Before the match, all eyes were on Ronaldo, whose presence in the Iranian capital caused a city-wide frenzy as fans swarmed to catch a glimpse of the veteran.
