Manchester United have been dealt another injury blow, with Harry Maguire set to miss the trip to Bayern Munich with an apparent injury.
The Red Devils have named their 21-man squad for the tough UEFA Champions League opener and a conspicuous absentee was their former captain.
Summer signings Altay Bayindir, Rasmus Hojlund, Andre Onana, and Sergio Reguilon were all included in Erik ten Hag’s squad for the trip to Bavaria.
At the same time, loanee Sofyan Amrabat will miss the game, despite reports that he was facing a late fitness test to be in contention.
According to football insider, Fabrizio Romano, Maguire's absence is due to an injury.
Here is the full squad to travel to Bayern Munich, as cited by The Mirror:
Goalkeepers: Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Andre Onana, Radek Vitek
Defenders: Victor Lindelof, Lisandro Martinez, Sergio Reguilon, Diogo Dalot, Jonny Evans
Midfielders: Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Facundo Pellistri, Scott McTominay, Dan Gore, Hannibal Mejbri
Forwards: Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, Omari Forson.
United's Maguire under continued pressure
The extent of Maguire’s injury is yet to be made public, as the 30-year old did not feature for his side in their latest game - their 3-1 defeat to Brighton.
Prior to that game, the defender featured for England when they took on Scotland in a match where he was heavily criticised for scoring an own goal.
Maguire recently came forth to address criticism that has been surrounding him, saying he was willing to fight for his place in Man United's first team.

Muller tickles fans with hilarious training
Sports Brief also reported on Bayern Munich stalwart, Thomas Muller’s hilarious training routine ahead of the UCL clash against Man United.
In a video posted online recently, the Bavarians man was seen doing a hilarious leaping routine believed to be a personal training program.
It was unclear if the routine was part of Muller's training or not but he seemed to be having fun. Perhaps he is licking his chops for Man United.
