- United were humbled 3-1 during the game with Hannibal Mejbri netting a consolation goal
All seems to be not well in the Manchester United camp after four players were reportedly involved in an angry bust-up after their defeat to Brighton.
The Red Devils have endured a mixed start to the new season, with the club managing just two wins from their five opening matches of the campaign.
United suffered a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal before the international break and hoped to return to winning ways when they hosted Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday.
However, Erik ten Hag's charges were condemned to yet another comprehensive defeat, with the loss sparking anger and outrage from fans.
United found themselves trailing 1-0 in the first half before the visitors added two more goals in the second half.
The BBC reports that Hannibal Mejbri pulled one back for the hosts deep in the second half but it was not enough to help them spring a comeback.
Man United stars involved in 'fight'
Sportbible reports that four Man United stars were also involved in an angry confrontation in the wake of the Brighton defeat.
According to the publication, Bruno Fernandes confronted Scott McTominay, who was making his first start of the season. This outburst saw the centre-back duo of Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof also involved, per Metro.
The dressing room discord comes at a time when United are occupying 13th place in the Premier League standings with just six points.
Ten Hag's charges are scheduled to play Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stages in their next outing.
