Super Eagles star Moses Simon scored a 'Puskas Contender' goal in Nantes 1-0 win over Clermont Foot in the French Ligue 1.
The Nigerian international's goal earned Nantes their first win of the season in the French League.
The Canaries were without a win in their opening four games in Ligue 1 this season, earning just two points.
In a viral video on social media, Simon was seen dropping a cold celebration after scoring a stunner against Clermont Foot.
The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw, but Nantes scored very early in the second half to seal all three points, according to Soccernet.
Clermont Foot tried to build from the back but lost the ball to Florent Mollet. The Nantes player then passed the ball to Simon, who wasted no time in striking the ball from 40 yards out to score a stunner.
Simon's goal in the 48th minute was enough for Nantes to secure all three points, but are still 15th on the French Ligue 1 table.
The Nigerian winger now has one goal, and two assists in the first five games in the French League this season.
Nantes will hope to build on this in their next league game, which is against Lorient at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
