FootballNicolas Jackson Leaves Fans in Stitches After He Misses Huge Chance vs. Bournemouth
- Nicolas Jackson's rampant misses for Chelsea have now come under sharp focus from fans
- The Senegalese forward has missed a couple of decent chances for the Blues this season
- His latest came against Bournemouth as Chelsea registered another disappointing display
Nicolas Jackson missed another glorious opportunity for Chelsea when they faced Bournemouth away in game week five of the Premier League.
Jackson had an off-colour day to compound the Blues' woes, which has left them with only one win in the Premier League under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Blues were the better side in the contest but failed to score a goal, with the home goalkeeper Neto coming up grand on a number of occasions to win a precious point for his side.
Chelsea hit the woodwork twice through Jackson and Raheem Sterling either side of the half before Neto pulled off saves to deny Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer.
Jackson's miss against Bournemouth
Pochettino's side's struggles were summarised early in the first half when Jackson prodded forward from the left side before releasing a shot.
He was off-balance as he struck the ball and ended up missing the goal by a distance.
The 22-year-old has been a live wire for the West London side since he joined, but the number of chances he has missed has now opened scrutiny into his role as Chelsea's long-term striking option.

Injuries to key players have hard done Pochettino's side.
The Senegalese striker appeared to be firing from all cylinders during their preseason games, with his partnership with Christopher Nkunku and Mykhailo Mudryk bearing fruit.
