Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey has been named Brighton and Hove Albion's Player of the Match after an outstanding performance in the victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old provided a brace of assists as the Seagulls ended Man United's home invisibility with a shocking 3-1 win.
Lamptey, who missed the international break following his recent injury comeback, was handed his first start since March 2023, when he lasted only 17 minutes of the game against West Ham United.
The versatile defender found Pascal Gross for Brighton's second eight minutes into the break, having already taking a first-half lead through former United striker Danny Welbeck.

Lamptey is expected to maintain his place in the team as the English club faces AEK Athens in Europe on Thursday.
