Harry Kane's superb start to life at Bayern Munich continued after he scored in his side's frustrating 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen.
By scoring, the England captain reached another incredible milestone for the German champions. He has now scored four Bundesliga goals in four games.
It has been an impressive start for Bayern in their league campaign. After four games, they have won three and drawn one, with the draw coming against Xabi Alonso's high-flying Leverkusen on September 15.
Thomas Tuchel's side were close to sealing the win but Leverkusen's Exequiel Palacios converted a 94th-minute penalty to break Bayern's hearts. The two sides are now tied on 10 points after four games, per 90min.
Kane had given Bayern the lead after seven minutes at the Allianz Arena but Leverkusen equalised in the 24th minute. Leon Goretzka scored Bayern's second in the 86th minute before Palacios' penalty at the death.
Kane reaches Bayern Munich milestone
By scoring against Leverkusen, the 30-year-old Englishman became the first player to score four goals across his first four Bundesliga games for Bayern Munich.
Others who have done it are Miroslav Klose, Paolo Guerrero, Jürgen Wegmann, Gerd Müller, and Rainer Ohlhauser.
Moreover, Kane has now scored 300 goals in 505 appearances at senior club level.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker will be looking to win the 2023/24 Bundesliga Golden Boot. Kane and Bayern face Manchester United in the Champions League.
