Senegal star Sadio Mane has reacted to Al-Nassr’s victory over Al-Raed as he posted on social media with a message in Arabic.
The former Liverpool forward continued with his blistering scoring form for the Knights of Najd, scoring in their 3-1 win on Saturday night, September 16.
Mane opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time as the away side took control of the game at the end of the opening exchanges.
Four minutes into the second half, Talisca extended the lead with a fine finish before Cristiano Ronaldo made it three in the 78th minute.
Mohamed Fouzair grabbed a consolation goal for the hosts as it ended Al-Raed 1-3 Al-Nassr, Sport Star reports.
After the game, Mane got his Instagram followers buzzing when he shared a photo of the moment he stuck, with a caption in Arabic. He wrote: “لحمدلله♥️الف مبروك جمهور النصر.”
It is translated into English as:
“Thank God. Congratulations to Al-Nasr fans.”
Mane has now scored six goals in six matches in the Saudi Professional League. He has formed a great partnership with five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
After six league games this season, Al Nassr are sixth on the table with twelve points. Recall that they lost their first two matches of the campaign, but have won their last four league games.
