l Hilal secured a convincing 6-1 victory over Al Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League on Friday night.

The Saudi powerhouse overwhelmed their city rivals, emerging as clear winners in a dominant performance.

Amidst all the excitement surrounding the match, the primary focus was on the potential debut of Brazilian sensation Neymar.

Al Hilal had acquired the former Barcelona star during the summer transfer window from Paris Saint-Germain, generating significant anticipation for his first appearance in the match.

Neymar initially began the game on the bench, but in the 64th minute, Hilal's manager, Jorge Jesus, called upon the Brazilian talent, even though the home side were already leading 2-0.

How Neymar fared on his debut

Neymar had an excellent debut for Al Hilal. The Brazilian played only the last 25 minutes plus added time, but looked a class apart. He was also involved in three goals and managed to claim an assist as well.

Neymar's pass to Malcom was key for the third goal of Al Hilal, while the Brazilian assisted Malcom to make it 4-0.

He was again instrumental when Al Hilal won a penalty, but it was converted by Salem Al-Dawsari for the fifth goal.

Al-Hilal fans celebrate Neymar

Neymar was honoured by Al-Hilal fans, who unveiled a huge banner with his face to celebrate his new milestone for his country.

He netted twice in Brazil's 5-1 win against Bolivia in a World Cup qualifying match. It was Neymar's first match for Brazil since they were eliminated from the 2022 World Cup by Croatia in December.

Pele's record has stood for decades. He played for Brazil between 1957 and 1971 and remains the only player to win three World Cups.

The football icon passed away late last year after a long battle with cancer, per Sky Sports.

PUMA celebrates Neymar for Brazil's milestone

Meanwhile, after Neymar became the outright leader in Brazil's all-time goal-scoring charts, PUMA immediately unveiled 78 limited-edition FUTURE boots to celebrate the milestone, as Sports Brief reported.

"Neymar has personally selected the special group that includes family, friends, coaches, current and ex-teammates, and Brazil legends, all of whom will receive the boot number that corresponds to the goals they have scored for their national team."

The shoes have 10 unique icons from images created by Neymar to represent the 10 special moments in his life.
