- Jadon Sancho will train away from Manchester United's first-team until his issue has been resolved
- The winger is currently not seeing eye-to-eye with the manager Erik ten Hag after the Arsenal game
- He is not expected to be available when the Red Devils face Brighton this weekend
New details have emerged in the Jadon Sancho vs. Erik ten Hag drama that is threatening to derail Manchester United's campaign.
It has only been four game weeks into the new season, but Manchester United are grappling with off-the-pitch issues, with Sancho and Anthony posing problems from different perspectives.
It started in July when Athony's ex-girlfriend, Gabriella Cavallin, accused the Brazilian of assault and causing bodily harm. The case erupted last week, with the former Ajax star mutually agreeing with the club to stay away from training until he clears his name.
Sancho's case meanwhile spiralled after United's last game, a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, before the international break. Ten Hag categorically stated that the England international had been dropped from the squad that travelled to London due to his training tendencies.
Sancho's talks with ten Hag
The 23-year-old took to X(formerly Twitter) to bash his manager. The post has since been taken down after the two were believed to have had showdown talks this week. The club released a statement on Thursday, September 14, revealing that the winger will be exiled from first-team training 'pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.'
As the Athletic now reports, the decision was taken after the former Borussia Dortmund star refused to apologise to ten Hag during the talks. Club director John Murtough is believed to have tried to mediate in the talks with CEO Richard Arnold, keeping a close eye as well.

Where did it all go wrong for the young, talented Sancho, who had the world at his feet at Borussia Dortmund?
Unsurprisingly, this is not the first time the 23-year-old has rubbed shoulders with authorities.
As Sports Brief reported, here is a player whose abilities, on his good day, no one can question, but has time and time again been weighed down by poor decisions or, to put it loosely, lack of discipline.
