Chelsea and Super Eagles legend John Mikel Obi has celebrated his twin daughter's birthday in grand style.
The Super Eagles legend's daughters, Ava and Mia, clocked eight today September 14 and were excited to be celebrated by their father.
The former Nigerian midfielder had his twin daughters eight years ago while still playing for Chelsea in England in 2015.
The 36-year-old midfielder took to his official page in Instagram to share a video of him celebrating his daughters' birthday alongside a lovely caption.
"I am the luckiest dad in the world to be blessed with 2 of the most adorable kids, I’m so proud of the smart and intelligent young girls you are and I promise to always be there for you at all times. Happy Birthday Babies.🎉 With 💕 Daddy," he wrote.
Mikel was recently involved in a Chelsea legends match with Bayern Munich legends played at Stamford Bridge.
The former Super Eagles legend started the game alongside John Terry, Michael Essien, William Gallas, Petr Cech, and a host of other Blues legends.
The former Chelsea midfielder impressed in the game that they won 4-0 against the Bavarians' legends, and there were numerous calls for him to come out of retirement.
One of his former teammates, Terry, who is the former captain of Chelsea, even suggested that the former Nigerian international should consider a move to Saudi Arabia if he decides to come out of retirement, according to Soccernet.
