Nigerian Afrobeats rising star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba - popularly known as MohBad - was confirmed to have passed away on September 12.
The musician reportedly died at the age of 27, with the cause of his demise still not publicly revealed.
Many celebrities and fans have shared their condolences and paid respect to MohBad since his passing earlier in the week, including a Super Eagles star.
Nigerian national team star, Maduka Okoye has joined the long queue of celebrities who have taken to social media to express their condolences over the death of the Peace crooner.
The former Watford goalkeeper took to his official page on X (formerly Twitter) to express his grief concerning the death of the young musician.
The Udinese shot-stopper quoted a tweet from MohBad's page that confirmed his death and added the caption: "R.I.P. Imole".
Imole is a Yoruba word that means 'light' in English. This word was made popular by MohBad and it became a term of endearment to him from his fans.
The Nigerian musician's death came as a shock to the entertainment world. He was recently in the news regarding the problems he had with former label, Marlian Music.
MohBad's father, Mr Aloba claimed that he had experienced a bad dream about his son just two days before his demise, according to Daily Post.

Sports Brief also reported on MohBad making bold claims in 'Ronaldo', with his hit track claiming he would have left football legends sitting on the bench.
Back in 2021, the late Afrobeats star released the hit track, which was produced by Niphkeys and served as a follow-up to his earlier hit, Backside.
In the lyrics of the track, MohBad stated in Pidgin English that he would have started ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Neymar Jr.
