FootballHavertz Sends Message to Arsenal Fans After Helping Germany Beat France
- Kai Havertz came off the bench to assist Leroy Sane for Germany's second goal against France
- Germany beat France 2-1 to win their first game after the sacking of Hansi Flick
- Havertz has now shifted his attention to club football, where he is yet to find his feet at Arsenal
Kai Havertz is pumped to get back to London and give it his all for Arsenal on the pitch after starring for Germany in their win over France during the international break.
Havertz is struggling to adapt at Arsenal after his £67.5m move from rivals Chelsea in June and is already losing the fans' patience just four games into the league season.
Mikel Arteta has deployed him as a left-sided number 8, similar to how Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka played in his final season at the Emirates Stadium last year.
It looks like an experiment bound to fail, with the player looking like a passenger on the pitch and not making any meaningful contribution to the team in both phases.
Havertz's message to Arsenal fans
As noted by Goal, Germany enjoyed a new manager's bounce under Rudi Voller as they beat France 2-1 in their first game after the departure of Hansi Flick, who was sacked after the 4-1 loss to Japan.
Havertz started off the bench and assisted Leroy Sane for the second goal before Antoine Griezmann pulled one back for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winners.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star is delighted with how he wrapped up the international break and took to his Instagram page with a message for his club fans.
“Good end to a difficult week for the team,” said Havertz. “Back to London for a big month ahead with @arsenal!,” he wrote.

Tough October awaits Arsenal
Sports Brief reported that Arsenal have a tough October to look up to following their return to the UEFA Champions League after eight years.
Mikel Arteta's men face two away trips in the Champions League and a challenging game against Manchester City, who pipped them to the title last season, amongst other fixtures.
