Juventus star Paul Pogba has been at the centre of a surprise doping scandal following reports that the midfielder had tested positive for testosterone - a hormone reported to increase an athlete's Endurance.
The former Manchester United star, who remains provisionally suspended by the Italian Anti-doping body, could face a potential four-year ban if he is confirmed positive.
According to recent reports, the midfielder has until later this week to produce a counter-analysis of his doping results.
Amid the flurry of reactions that have trailed Pogba’s ordeal, Bayern Munich and France star Kingsley Coman has come out to throw his support behind the 30-year-old.
Coman shows support for Pogba
The 27-year-old French forward, following Le Blues 2-1 defeat against Germany spoke to the media.
As reported by GFFN, the Bayern Munich star in showing his support for his teammate and the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner said:
“We all support Paul, he’s a very close friend, he’s part of the family,” he told reporters.
“We don’t really know more. We’ll have to look. But we know Paul, we know that if something happened, it was surely unconsciously, without intention. We are with him wholeheartedly.”
Pogba, who has endured a torrid time in recent times following his transfer to the Italian side Juventus from United, has openly acknowledged inadvertently using testosterone.
As reported by FirtsSportz, it appears that his time with the Old Lady could be considered over following reports that the club's hierarchy are extremely furious with the midfielder.
