FootballHow Man United Could Line Up Ahead of EPL Return Without Antony and Sancho
- Manchester United are set to play Brighton in their next EPL clash
- United are likely to miss the services of Antony and Jadon Sancho for the tie
- The Red Devils have won just two of their four opening matches of the new season
Erik ten Hag is facing a major squad selection headache, especially in attack, ahead of the resumption of the Premier League.
Manchester United have endured a difficult start to the new season, winning just two of their four opening matches of the campaign.
The Red Devils suffered a 3-1 humiliating defeat in their last outing at the hands of rivals Arsenal, with Marcus Rashford netting the consolation.
The Emirates cracker saw Ten Hag start Antony in the right wing, with Jadon Sancho dropped from the squad that travelled to the capital.
Ten Hag later disclosed that Sancho was axed from the squad due to below-par performances in training.
However, the Englishman hit back at the Dutchman's claims as he took to social media to call out his manager.
According to The Mirror, Sancho's public spat left the United boss disappointed, plunging the winger's Old Trafford into doubt.
Antony out of Man United squad
Ten Hag has another headache to contend with in the shape of Anton, who is out of the United squad as he faces allegations of domestic violence.
The Brazilian winger is accused of having assaulted his ex-girlfriend, with the claims leading to his suspension from the national team during the international break.
Manchester Evening News reports that United have since granted the former Ajax ace leave of absence, and it remains unclear when he will resume action with the Red Devils.
How Man United could line up
With Sancho's return date unclear and Antony out of the squad, Ten Hag will have a lot to ponder on ahead of the Premier League return.

FootballThe Old Trafford dwellers are scheduled to face the high-flying Brighton in their next fixture, in a match Ten Hag will be desperate to name a strong team for the tie.
That said, the Red Devils boss could turn to Alejandro Garnacho to fill the right-wing position.
The Argentine ace occasionally played in the position last season and could come in handy in the absence of Antony and Sancho.
Youngsters Pellistri and Amad Diallo are the other options, while skipper Bruno Fernandes or Mason Mount could be deployed in the role.
Meanwhile, Andre Onana is sure to keep his place between the sticks, with Victor Lindelof partnering Lisandro Martinez in the heart of defence in the absence of Raphael Varane.
Diogo Dalot or Reguilon could be deployed on the left-back as Aaron Wan-Bissaka takes charge on the right.
In midfield, Casemiro is likely to partner new arrival Amrabat, with Fernandes playing in a more advanced role.

Inside Jadon Sancho's troubled career
Where did it all go wrong for the young, talented Sancho, who had the world at his feet at Borussia Dortmund?
Unsurprisingly, this is not the first time the 23-year-old has rubbed shoulders with authorities.
As Sports Brief reported, here is a player whose abilities, on his good day, no one can question, but has time and time again been weighed down by poor decisions or, to put it loosely, lack of discipline.
