Fans savagely remind Pochettino of Spurs failure as gaffer declares trophy targets at Chelsea
Football
Football fans are not happy with the SABC at the moment.
The state broadcaster is under fire from fans after they failed to televise Bafana Bafana’s friendly against DR Congo.
The two sides met at the Orlando Stadium at 5 pm on September 12, but fans were caught off guard when they couldn’t find coverage of the game.
Instead, the SABC asked fans to stream the game online, leading to more criticism.
Some fans couldn’t understand why they were asked to stream a game played in the country, but international fixtures were shown on TV.

FootballWhile Bafana’s official Twitter account and SABC Sport had updates and some scenes from the game, it was still frustrating for many that they couldn’t watch the team in action.
To make matters worse, many fans couldn’t stream the fixture as SABC Sport’s link didn’t work.
Bafana won the encounter 1-0 thanks to Lyle Foster scoring, but the reputational damage was done before the game started.
Here is how fans reacted to missing out on the friendly:
@collen_sambo2:
“You fools must broadcast all sports of national interest on TV, not some stupid channels.”
@NsikayesizweZN:
“Reason why people don't take Bafana seriously.”
@TsoeuL:
“Pay TV License. Bafana is not playing away, it's during the week at 17:00. Most people are knocking off late. Can't make it to the stadium in time, we have to stream the game. Ridiculous, madness Loadshedding Stage 6. No signal if you are not on Fiber. SA is a joke, serious.”

Football@ENOCk088:
“Mxm, the link is not even working.”
Hugo Broos wants his Bafana Bafana side to go out and dismantle DR Congo.
Following their goalless draw with Namibia, Broos wants the side to make a statement against the Congolese.
The South African team set up the two friendlies during the current international break, with Broos originally saying that it wasn’t about results, but about seeing what the players had to offer, Sports Brief reported.
