The musician joined several other celebrities around the world in New York to unveil the latest wear, inspired by designs from fans.
Unlike the regular jerseys, the new collection comes in various styles, making it easy to wear for different gatherings.
In photos shared on social media, Adekunle Gold - known in real life as Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko - is seen posing in the new outfit.
Vice President of Adidas' Product and Design, Sam Handy explained the inspiration behind the new collection.
"The lines between football and fashion have never been more blurred, which is why we’re excited to launch this new collection for fans who want to show off their club pride in style and comfort," she said, as quoted by pmnewsnigeria.com.
She continued, explaining the inspiration behind the collection:
"Each of the clubs featured in the LFSTLR collection are globally recognised institutions whose appeal stretches beyond a purely football context. That’s why we wanted to challenge and redefine the traditional concept of a replica jersey and tap into current streetwear trends – making them a welcome addition to the wardrobe of any fashion-conscious supporter."
Other entertainment stars who rocked jerseys produced by Adidas are American Grammy-nominated rapper, Pusha T and Mexican rapper, Aleman.
Adekunle Gold is a known fan of Manchester United and the collaboration with Adidas comes as part of his wide-ranging interest in fashion.
