Joao Felix is already feeling comfortable at Barcelona, less than two weeks after completing his move to the reigning La Liga champions from Atletico Madrid.
The Portugal forward, who had a troubled time at Rojiblancos, made his Barcelona debut in the hard-fought victory against Osasuna on Saturday, September 2, with the Catalan giants strolling to a 2-1 victory.
According to Football Espana, Felix has now opened up on the position he would prefer Xavi play him this season after getting his first minutes with Barcelona.
“I feel good, confident. Physically, too, despite not having had many minutes lately. I am ready to arrive in Barcelona and start strong. I want to work to help the team.
“I feel comfortable starting from the left wing. I’ve been playing there for some time now, and I think it’s where Xavi likes to put me the most.”
Felix will hope to make his first start for Barcelona this weekend when the Catalan giants take on Real Betis as they hope to close the gap on arch-rivals Real Madrid.

The majority of Barcelona fans have embraced Felix with open arms, and the Portugal forward is overjoyed by this display of affection by the supporters.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Joao Felix showed he is one of the most skilful footballers on the planet at the moment during his presentation as a Barcelona player after completing his loan move.
Having completed his loan move to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid on the transfer deadline day on Friday, the 23-year-old forward was presented as a Barca player on Saturday.
The Portugal international joined the reigning La Liga champions to replace Ousmane Dembele, who sealed a £43.5m move to Paris Saint-Germain earlier on in the window.
