According to Metro UK, the former striker has barely been linked with any job since then.

He was thought to be a frontrunner for the Leicester City job over the summer after the sacking of Brendan Rodgers.

However, it was former Manchester City assistant Enzo Maresca who finally landed the job.

Is Ole set for a return?

Be that as it may, the Manchester United legend is rumoured to have been offered the job of managing the Norway women's national football team.

The role has been vacant for sometime now following the team's early exit at the Women's World Cup over the summer.

Despite landing the offer, Ole is understood to have declined the job, per Manchester Evening News, with the former United boss revealing he is not ready for it.

"Yes, I have spoken to the association about the job as national coach – of course I have it," Ole told Norwegian outlet NRK.
"They have asked. But I’m not ready for that yet," he added.

Solskajer enjoyed an illustrious career with the national team, earning 67 caps for Norway and scoring 23 goals in the process.
