Mbappe was in a transfer standoff with PSG all summer, which led to the French club relegating him to the reserves before reinstating him after he refused to back down on his decision to not renew his contract.
According to Essentially Sport, Mbappe will now appear in Rimowa’s advertising campaign alongside Formula One legend, Lewis Hamilton and Rosé from South Korean girl group, Blackpink.
The ad campaign by the German luggage brand was launched on September 7, under the music direction of Oscar winner, Hans Zimmer.
Mbappe has already scored four goals in three appearances for PSG since his return to the first team, with reports suggesting he could also extend his contract with the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
PSG president breaks Mbappe silence
Meanwhile, PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has suggested the issues of both Mbappe’s contract and Real Madrid have been put to one side for the moment, Football Transfers reports.
Due to rumours the Frenchman had already signed with the Spanish giants and would leave after his contract expired in the summer of 2024, he was briefly cut from the first squad and barred from practising with the team.
Al-Khelaifi has since hailed Mbappe as an incredible player and a fantastic person and reckoned the PSG team, on and off the pitch, had never been so united following the recent victories they had garnered.
