Without missing the opportunity to convey his sentiments to his friend, Modric expressed in a video shared on Twitter:
“Hello, brother, I just want to congratulate you on returning home because I know how much you wanted to return to Sevilla. I’m very happy for you, you deserve it.
“I wish you the best. See you soon and I send you a big hug. I love you brother.”
Ramos’ surprise return to Sevilla has continued to dominate the headlines in Spain amid Goal’s reports that the defender had agreed to a deal to complete a move to Saudi Pro League giant Al Ittihad.
The former Los Blancos captain will now shift his immediate focus to revive Sevilla’s ailing season as the current La Liga basement side hosts Osasuna after the International break.
