Arsenal Fans in Uganda Hold Parade to Celebrate Victory over Manchester United

A group of Arsenal fans in Uganda took their celebrations to the next level after the victory over Manchester United, holding a procession on the streets of Jinja City.

The supporters marched and sang Gunners anthems as they enjoyed the moment in the Eastern Ugandan city.

A huge banner, with the result of the Premier League game boldly printed on it, was held aloft by two fans while a fleet of motorcycles followed behind and honked.

In a video which has since gone viral on social media, the Ugandan Arsenal fans are seen celebrating the victory in style.

Meanwhile, in a fiercely contested game at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, it took a last-minute masterclass from the Gunners to secure all three points.

Manchester United took the lead through Marcus Rashford but it lasted only 60 seconds after Martin Odegaard levelled for Arsenal.

Alejandro Garnacho had a goal controversially ruled out as offside before Declan Rice scored late to give the hosts the lead.

Second-half substitute, Gabriel Jesus then sealed victory with a brilliant solo goal, as reported by the BBC.

Arsenal remain unbeaten in the new season as the English Premier League goes on a break due to international football.

United goalkeeper Onana makes Cameroon return

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Man United goalkeeper, Andre Onana agreeing to return for Cameroon after his temporary retirement following a disagreement with coach, Rigobert Song.

Onana prematurely left the Indomitable Lions' camp during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar over disciplinary issues. He has not appeared for the five-time African champions since then.

Ten Hag blames refereeing for United's defeat

Meanwhile, Man United coach Erik ten Hag appeared to blame refereeing decisions for his team's defeat against Arsenal.

As Sports Brief also reported, the Red Devils were humbled 3-1 during their trip to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
