  • Jude Bellingham continued his dream start to life at Real Madrid
  • He has now scored in four successive La Liga games for Los Blancos
  • His goal tally ensured he matched one of Cristiano Ronaldo's numerous records for the Spanish giants

Jude Bellingham was on cloud nine following his last-minute goal, securing a comeback win for Real Madrid against Getafe in the Spanish La Liga.

Bellingham, making his debut at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu since his transfer from Borussia Dortmund, completed Real's turnaround from a one-nil deficit.

His 95th-minute strike brought his season goal tally to five in just four matches, helping Los Blancos maintain their perfect start to the season and retain their position at the top of the league table, according to the Sun.

The 20-year-old Englishman, previously named La Liga Player of the Month for August, justified the recognition with yet another match-deciding goal.

After his heroic performance, the 2022-23 Bundesliga Player of the Season turned to Twitter, now known as X App, to share his thoughts.

"A place like no other. Mi Casa!": He wrote accompanied with a white heart emoji signifying his love for the club.

Bellingham equals Ronaldo's Madrid record

Remarkably, Bellingham, presently leading La Liga's scoring charts with five goals, has equalled a record once exclusively held by the club's all-time leading goal scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Dortmund captain has achieved the feat of being the first player since Ronaldo to net goals in each of his inaugural four La Liga matches for Real Madrid.

Beyond merely amassing individual achievements, his goal played a crucial role in securing Madrid's fourth victory of the season.

Real Madrid boss sets target for Bellingham

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Carlo Ancelotti is deeply impressed by Jude Bellingham's abilities, following yet another standout performance by the English midfielder, which helped secure a 2-1 victory for Real Madrid against Getafe.

Ancelotti is confident that Bellingham will continue to find the back of the net and has set a season goal target of 15 goals for the talented England midfielder.
