- Haaland netted a hat-trick during the tie to inspire City to a thrilling win
Erling Haaland has made an incredibly honest admission following his side's controversial goal against Fulham on Saturday, September 2.
The Manchester City superstar has seemingly picked up from where he left last season, having already scored six goals in just four outings this term.
According to Goal, Haaland found the back of the net 35 times in his Premier League debut last season, with the impressive tally winning him the Golden Boot.
With just four matches played this term, the Norwegian has emerged as a clear frontrunner for the prestigious accolade once again.
The youngster netted a stunning hat-trick against Fulham on Saturday to take his haul to six goals as City demolished the Cottagers 5-1.
However, one of the five goals scored by City was somewhat controversial as it was scored from an offside position.
The Mirror reports that the scores were 1-1 when Nathan Ake aimed a header from the penalty spot towards the bottom left corner to find the back of the net.
At the time, Fulham's defensive line had moved up, leaving Manuel Akanji offside, with the City defender jumping over the ball as it went past him.
Haaland reacts to City's controversial goal
Haaland has now come out to admit that Fulham are justified to be fuming at Ake's controversial goal.
According to the Norwegian, he would equally be angry if he found himself in the shoes of Fulham.
“Yeah, I think it was offside as well, I feel bad for them (Fulham) and I would be fuming after this as well. It’s how it is, it must be a horrible feeling for them," he conceded.

Haaland trolls Arsenal fans
Elsewhere, Sports Brief reported that Haaland gave a savage gesture who booed him after he was substituted in the 65th minute of City's loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield.
The Norwegian raised three fingers to signify the trophies he won last season, while the Gunners went empty-handed despite spending the most days at the top of the table.
