Carlo Ancelotti is in awe of Jude Bellingham’s talents after the England midfielder produced another Man of the Match performance to earn Real Madrid a 2-1 victory against Getafe.
The 20-year-old midfielder scored a 95th-minute winner in his first home game at the Santiago Bernabeu to help Los Blancos maintain their 100 percent winning start in La Liga.
According to Football Espana, Ancelotti believes Bellingham will keep on scoring goals and has set a target of 15 goals for the England midfielder this season.
“He can reach 15 goals without a problem. He moves very well and that’s why he scores so many goals. He’s a player who learns very quickly, we don’t have to tell him things too many times.”
Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid this summer, has enjoyed a superb start to life in Spanish football as the England international has netted five La Liga goals in his first four games of the ongoing campaign.
Real Madrid scrape past Getafe
Meanwhile, Real Madrid were not too convincing but defeated Getafe 2-1 at the new-look Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday afternoon, with Jude Bellingham scoring the game-winning goal, MARCA reports.
Borja Mayoral, a Real Madrid academy graduate, rounded Kepa and tucked through the legs of Antonio Rudiger for a surprising opener for the hosts.
Joselu equalised for the hosts, scoring from close range after Getafe defender Djene failed to deal with the clearance before Bellingham sealed an all-important win for Real Madrid with a goal in added time.
