The Black Stars will face Liberia in an international friendly days after their final AFCON 2023 qualifier against the Central African Republic.
The four-time African champions have arranged the friendly with their West African rivals as part of preparations ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana needs at least a draw against the Central African Republic to seal their spot at the tournament in Ivory Coast next year.
Coach Chris Hughton has named a 25-man squad for the game on Thursday as well as the friendly in Accra on September 12, per ghanafa.org.
Arsenal star Thomas Partey has been excluded from the squad for the match against CAR while, Baba Rahman, Baba Iddrisu and Richard Ofori return to the team.
Captain Andre Ayew, who is looking for a new club has been included in the squad.
The Black Stars will also play the United States and Mexico in friendlies lined up for October 2023.
The players are expected to start arriving on Monday as preparations begin for the crucial AFCON qualifier, per Ghanasoccernet.
Ghana to miss Thomas Partey for CAR clash
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arsenal star Thomas Partey has not been named in the Ghana squad to face the Central African Republic in the final 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier next week.
Partey has reportedly picked an injury and will be out for a while, leaving Chris Hughton with no option than to name his team without his deputy captain.
His absence will be a huge blow for the Black Stars who need at least a draw to qualify for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year.

FootballEddie Nketiah snubs Ghana for England
Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has been handed his debut England national team call-up despite interest from the Ghana Football Association over a possible nationality switch.
The 24-year-old has been in talks with the Ghanaian federation with coach Chris Hughton recently revealing in an interview that there have been talks with the forward.
However, in a list released by England manager Gareth Southgate for the games against Ukraine and Scotland in September, Nketiah was named in the squad.
