Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has reaffirmed Kylian Mbappe's commitment to the club despite the circumstances surrounding the forward’s contract.
The 24-year-old superstar has held PSG to a standstill after refusing to extend his contract with the Ligue 1 champions and could leave the club as a free agent at the end of the 2023/24 season.
According to GOAL, Mbappe has turned down at least one more offer from PSG after being reintegrated into the first team, but Al-Khelaifi has reiterated the French club will be okay without him.
"We have another 24 hours. Kylian is a PSG player. We have very good discussions with him, he is a magnificent player, as a person and as a professional.
We discussed with the rest of his family. We're going to work, try to do something. If we can, why not? If not, we're ready, we're fine. An extension? I don't want to talk about that."
Mbappe has agreed to stay for at least one more season in Paris and has also promised that he won't leave PSG for free even with his contract set to expire in 2024.
