Before joining West Ham last week, Kudus rounded off his Ajax career with a hat-trick in the Europa League qualifiers against Ludogorets Razgrad.
In a heartfelt post on social media, Kudus admitted his time with the former European champions remains a memorable one in his journey.
"As one journey ends, another awaits. But the Ajax chapter is one for the books. Thank you Afc Ajax! Every challenge, every goal, every chant heard - unforgettable. Until we dance again! #WijZijnAjax to The Academy of Football," he wrote on X.
Kudus is set to begin his West Ham career on Friday, with the Hammers travelling to Luton Town for their fourth game of the campaign in the English Premier League.
The Ghana international is expected to make his dream debut against the newcomers.
“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid,” Kudus told whufc.com.
“I’ve been dreaming of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going.
“I try my best to entertain the fans as I think that’s what football is all about. I’m just here to do my best and help the team. I’m really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can’t wait to get started.”
