A popular 5-year-old Brazilian footballer has gone viral for performing Cristiano Ronaldo's now famous celebration 'Siuuu' after scoring a stunning free-kick.
The celebration has taken the football world by storm since the Al-Nassr superstar started doing it after scoring a goal at Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus.
Ronaldo is believed to have screamed 'Siuuu' for the first time after winning his third Ballon d'Or award in 2014. Since then, it has become a popular celebration in sport.
It is the most recognizable celebration in sport. Other footballers across the world, as well as NBA and NFL stars, have been seen doing the 'Siuu'. The Memphis Grizzlies' video of their centre Steven Adams hitting the 'Siuu' went viral on TikTok.
This shows the influence Ronaldo has on football. He paved the way for other footballers to join the Saudi Pro League, making it one of the most popular leagues in the world.
Young Brazilian does 'Siuu'
The 5-year-old, named Luiz Miguel, has close to 1 million followers on Instagram and TikTok. He always posts videos of himself scoring free kicks. Despite his small frame, his technique is stupendous.
In one of the videos, he gets the ball over a wall of three players before it flies into the top-left corner. The youngster then celebrates by doing the 'Siuu' celebration.
In other videos, he does the Ronaldo stance before he takes a free-kick. Miguel has worn Ronaldo's Al-Nassr and Juventus jerseys.
Ronaldo explains meaning behind 'Siuu'
Sports Brief earlier reported on Ronaldo explaining the origin and meaning of his famous celebration.
'Siuu' is a Portuguese word for 'yes'. The 38-year-old first shouted it during the 2014 Ballon d'Or gala when he pipped Messi to the award. A year before that, he had casually done the celebration during a pre-season game against Chelsea.
He then turned it into a celebration after scoring, in which he would perform a mid-air 'dance' before shouting 'SIUU' upon landing.
