Jude Bellingham, who made the switch from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid this summer, has been making quite an impact in the Spanish capital.
His adaptation to life at his new club has been seamless, much like a duck taking to water.
In his early days at Real Madrid, Bellingham's performances have been nothing short of remarkable.
He recently clinched the prestigious La Liga Player of the Month award after an outstanding display in the opening three fixtures, where he notched four goals and provided an assist, Football Espana reports.
This achievement is historic, as the 20-year-old Englishman became the first English player ever to win the La Liga Player of the Month award, surpassing illustrious predecessors like David Beckham and Michael Owen, per ESPN.
While Bellingham has dazzled on the field, his recent training session with the Los Blancos, ahead of their match against Getafe, evoked memories of his football idol, Zinedine Zidane.
Pictures circulating on Twitter, now known as the X App, captured Bellingham flawlessly replicating Zidane's iconic volley from the 2002 Champions League final against Bayer Leverkusen, held at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Bellingham recreates Zidane's volley
Zidane's extraordinary goal, widely regarded as one of the greatest in the history of Europe's premier club competition, secured Real Madrid's ninth continental title on 15 May 2002.
It was a left-footed volley into the top corner, executed on the cusp of halftime, which restored Madrid's lead and ultimately led to their triumph over Leverkusen.
Fast forward 11 years, and during a training session, the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder paid tribute to his idol by recreating that famous volley, this time using his right foot.
