Luis Castro has issued a warning to Al-Nassr's rivals after his team secured consecutive victories in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese manager, who took charge at the start of the season, has witnessed his squad maintain a steady resurgence after a challenging beginning to the campaign.

Their recent back-to-back triumphs over Al Shabab and Al Fateh have shifted the focus away from disappointing losses to Al Taawoun and Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq.

With a total of nine goals in their last two matches, the Knights of Najd have climbed to sixth place, just three points behind the top four places and six points adrift of the early leaders, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli.

After their impressive performance against Shabab, the 61-year-old coach has sent a strong message to their competitors, hinting that his team has more to offer in the future.

“We haven't played at our best level yet,” he said, as quoted by The Nassr Zone.

What's next for Luis Castro?

Next in line for Luis Castro and his Al-Nassr side is an upcoming away match against Al-Hazem, currently positioned 16th in the league standings. They have not managed to secure a victory in their first four matches.

Castro's men secure heavy win

In a related publication, Sports Brief reported that Luis Castro's men, led by Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane, continued their remarkable goal-scoring streak as Al-Nassr clinched successive wins in the Saudi Pro League, comfortably defeating Al-Shabab.

Ronaldo scored twice from the penalty spot, while Mane and Sultan Al Ghannam each added a goal, guiding the Knights of Najd to a convincing 4-0 victory at Al-Awwal Park on Tuesday night.

Ronaldo salutes Castro's charges

Sports Brief also reported that Cristiano Ronaldo conveyed his delight with Al-Nassr's impressive display against Al-Shabab at Al-Awwal Park on August 29.

Ronaldo took to social media to express his contentment with his team's performance and extended his congratulations to his teammates.
