Erling Haaland and Bukayo Saka have expressed their thoughts on picking up the prestigious PFA Awards at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester last night.
The Professional Footballers' Association Awards were held last night, and it unsurprisingly featured winners from the top two teams of last season - Manchester City and Arsenal.
Haaland picked up the Players' Player of the Year for the best star of the season after notching a record-breaking 36 league goals in his first season in English football.
According to the PFA's official website, Saka picked up the Young Player of the Year award for the first time, having received nominations four times in a row. He won it despite Haaland's nomination in the same category.

It was the first time for both players picking up the awards, and despite it not being a surprise as both players had remarkable seasons, they could not hide their delight in winning the gongs.
"Truly honoured. Thank you @PFA for this! šš„," Haaland wrote on Instagram.
The Norwegian scored 53 goals in all competitions last season and also won the Premier League and FWA Player of the Year, amongst other individual awards.
"PFA Young Player š It's an honour for me to accept this award and have my name alongside the previous winners. To have your peers acknowledge you is a very special feeling! Thank you to the PFA, and congratulations to all the other winners and nominees this evening," Saka wrote on Twitter.
Davido performs at PFA Awards
Sports Brief also reported that Nigerian artiste, Davido entertained the audience at the gala with the performance of his viral hit song, Unavailable, off his global album, Timeless.
He became the first African artiste to be invited to perform at the yearly event, which held its 50th edition last night, and the amapiano hitmaker did not disappoint.
