  • Bukayo Saka was emotional after learning what Arsenal fans really thought of him
  • The Gunners winger was crowned the PFA's Young Player of the Year on August 29
  • Saka was then shown a video clip of Arsenal fans revealing their true loyalty to him

A video of Bukayo Saka watching Arsenal fans react to the scenario of losing him next summer has gone viral online.

The winger, who is arguably the Gunners' best player, won the PFA Young Player of the Year at a ceremony at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester, beating his Premier League counterpart Erling Haaland in the process.

The award came after a stellar season for Saka, who bagged an impressive 15 goals and also contributed 11 assists for his English side during the 2022/23 season.

Jacob Ramsey, Evan Ferguson, and Moises Caicedo were also in contention to win the award, as cited by Arsenal's official website.

While it is safe to say the importance of Saka to Arsenal cannot be overstated, the England international only really learned of how important he was to the fans on Tuesday.

In a video shared by GOAL on TikTok, the winger was shown a clip of Gunners fans answering a tricky question on if they would rather win the Premier League or lose their star man the following summer.

The question was posed in February 2023, when Arsenal were serious title contenders on the verge of upsetting Manchester City.

Despite being close to Premier League glory, most of the fans - if not all - said they were unwilling to see Saka leave and would rather lose out on EPl glory.

"Never! That’s not worth it. That’s our star boy, that’s like your son," one fan said.
"Trust the process, keep Saka and win the Champions League next year," another commented.
A third fan reacted: "It’s not a deal worth even contemplating!"

Saka’s reaction to the video

Saka was shown the video and his reaction was quite wholesome as he did not seem to realise how important he was in the eyes of the Arsenal fans.

“Wow, that's real love you know. That's real talk. He said it's not even worth contemplating! That's real love... I appreciate that and I hope I can pay off the faith."

The winger has continued his impressive showing for the Gunners, being on target in the disappointing 2-2 draw against Fulham on August 26.

Zinchenko makes bold Thomas Partey claim

Sports Brief has also reported on Arsenal defender, Oleksandr Zinchenko's hot take on the best midfielder in the Premier League.

The Ukraine international has played with some of the world's best, including Rodri and Fernandinho during his time with Man City.

Zinchenko believes his current teammate, Thomas Partey is ahead of both an ex-Real Madrid star and a UCL final match-winner.
