Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his cultural appreciation by performing a traditional Saudi folk dance during Al-Nassr's emphatic victory against Al-Shabab last night.
Ronaldo demonstrated his skills on the field, netting two penalty kicks as the Knights of Najd continued their recent resurgence after a sluggish start to the Saudi Pro League season.
The 38-year-old has been on fire in front of the goal, with his brace against Shabab bringing his total to five goals in his last two matches, solidifying his position as the leading scorer in the SPL after four games.
However, it was Ronaldo's choice of celebration that truly captured the attention of social media users.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star was seen rhythmically moving up and down with his right arm raised in the air after one of his goals.
According to Saudi Arabian social media users, this celebration paid homage to the traditional Saudi dance known as "ardah."
