New signings Jude Bellingham and Kepa Arrizabalaga are in line to make their home debuts following their respective transfers to the Spanish giants earlier in the summer.

Bellingham, Kepa set for debuts

Bellingham has so far helped Madrid secure maximum points in the club’s first three fixtures, and couldn’t hold back his excitement as he took to Instagram to express his happiness at playing at the Bernabeu following the conclusion of the game at the Abanca Balaidos.

The midfielder posted:

“Love a late winner, 3/3. Time to see my new home.”

The 20-year-old midfielder is yet to play any fixture in the Spanish capital, not even during his time as an opponent of Los Blancos.

Kepa, on the other hand, shares a slightly different fate from the Englishman. The former Athletic Club goalkeeper was a mainstay in Jose Angel Ziganda’s side when the Basque club visited the Spanish capital in January 2018.

Diario AS also reports that the 28-year-old did feature for the Spanish national team on 13 occasions, with a number of the fixtures, including the Euro qualifiers against Sweden, played at the Real Madrid stadium.

Rafa Benitez hails Jude Bellingham

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that ex-Real Madrid manager, Rafael Benitez has said his former club paid a huge amount to sign Jude Bellingham because the young Englishman is good.

Benitez's Celta Vigo face Madrid on Friday night. It will be the first time he faces his former club after he was fired in 2016 by Florentino Perez. His connection to Los Blancos runs much deeper than those six forgettable months.

Bellingham has made a phenomenal start to his La Liga season. In just two matches, he has scored three goals.
