Kenyans highly doubt age of most Harambee Stars squad members for AFCON
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) shared photos of AFCON-bound Harambee Stars team members on social media but hawk-eyed fans noticed something.
For a country that was still reeling from effects of age cheating that saw the under-17 football team suspended from regional tournament, it did not come as a surprise when netizens doubted age of most seasoned players.

Tottenham Hotspur's Victor Wanyama (26), AFC Leopards' Paul Were (25) and Bandari goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo who is 22-years old are some noticeable figures in the national team who have been criticised heavily for alleged age cheating.
Even though Wanyama's age has been a subject of public ridicule and debate, it was Were's that attracted the most reaction, with information that in 2010, he was a regular face at the Kenyan club.
