Former Ghana defender, John Paintsil believes new West Ham United signing, Mohammed Kudus is a blend of the club's former players, Carlos Tevez and Yossi Benayoun.
West Ham beat Brighton and Chelsea to sign the Ghana international on a five-year deal from Ajax Amsterdam.
Painstil, the first Ghanaian to play for the Hammers, spent two seasons with the London club, making 19 appearances before moving to Fulham in 2008.
According to Paintsil, Kudus is a mixture of his ex-teammates at West Ham, Carlos Tevez and Yossi Benayoun.
"Signing for West Ham is a great choice and a good decision taken by the young man. West Ham is a big platform with a big family which opens great doors for every player that joins them," Paintsil said, as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.
"This decision will help Kudus and his family as well as the Black Stars. And with his inclusion now, their Premier League campaign will be a great one. He (Kudus) is a replica of Carlos Tevez and Yossi Benayoun," he added.
Kudus is expected to make his West Ham debut on Friday when they travel to Luton Town, as reported by whufc.com.
