Mohammed Kudus flew his mother, brother, and uncle to London for his unveiling as a West Ham United player.

The 23-year-old joined the Hammers on a five-year deal from Dutch giants, Ajax Amsterdam, in the summer transfer window, following an outstanding spell in the Eredivisie.

The Ghana international made sure his family were there to witness his dream move to the English Premier League.

In photos shared on social media, Kudus was spotted with his mother and siblings at the Olympic Stadium in London as he finalised his West Ham move.

His mother is known for playing a key role in the midfielder's career, having made huge sacrifices for him to see his dream of becoming a footballer come true.

She watched her son play for the first time during his days with FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark and also travelled to Qatar to see him play at the 2022 World Cup.

Kudus is expected to make his West Ham debut against Luton Town on Friday.

"I’ve been dreaming [of playing] in a league like this since I was a kid," he said, as quoted by whufc.com.
"I’ve been dreaming of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going."

Kudus said he would try his best to entertain the fans, as he believed that was what football was about.

"I'm just here to do my best and help the team. I’m really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can’t wait to get started."

Kudus joins West Ham United

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Black Stars midfielder, Kudus joining West Ham United from Eredivisie giants, Ajax Amsterdam.

The Ghana international signed a five-year deal with the option of a further year after successfully completing his medicals.

The 23-year-old joins the EPL side in a deal reportedly worth €44.5 million and is also stated to include a 10% sell-on clause.
