Sadio Mane has emerged as the winner of the Goal of the Week in the Saudi Pro League after scoring a beauty in Al-Nassr's thumping win over Al-Fateh on matchday three of the new season.
The ex-Liverpool attacker beat Al-Ittihad's Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah and Mateus Castro of Al-Taawoun to win the best goal of the week award.
The Senegalese forward combined with veteran forward Cristiano Ronaldo to give the Knights of Najd the lead in the 5-0 win last Friday.
According to the Saudi Pro League, Mane pulled 56% of votes, more than half of the total cast to beat off competition from Hamdallah and Castro.
The 31-year-old attacker has been in fine form for Al-Nassr since joining the club from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
Mane has netted three times in the league, and played an important role as Al-Nassr won the Arab Club Champions Cup earlier this month, as reported by the BBC.
He is expected to help the club win the Saudi Pro League after they narrowly missed out on the title to Al-Ittihad last season.
Mane acknowledges Ronaldo's assist
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mane celebrated his goal for Al-Nassr against Al-Fateh by acknowledging the sweet assist from Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 38-year-old cut open the defence of Al Fateh with a lovely backheel which found Mane for Al-Nassr's opening goal at the Prince Abdulla Al Jalawi stadium.
Mane, who was netting his second goal of the season in the Saudi Pro League, pointed at Ronaldo to credit him for the goal.

Senegal forward Sadio Mane is off and running once again after he netted a beautiful lobbying goal for Al-Nassr to open the scoring in their game against Al-Fateh on Friday evening.
The 31-year-old finished off a slick assist from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 27th minute as the Knights of Najd chased their first win of the season in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo went from provider to a scorer as he doubled the lead for Al-Nassr ten minutes later.
