  • Kylian Mbappe has reached another milestone
  • After scoring a brace over the weekend for Paris Saint-Germain, he has now been involved in 400 first-team goals for club and country
  • Mbappe is only 24 and is PSG's all-time top scorer in Ligue 1

Kylian Mbappe has proven himself on the biggest stage time and time again and has a solid case for being considered the best player in the world.

Despite his protracted contract dispute with Paris Saint-Germain, he has made a phenomenal start to the season. He bagged a brace for PSG against Lens over the weekend to help them get their first win of the season after two straight draws.

His brace on Saturday against Lens was his 150th and 151st goal in Ligue 1 for Paris Saint-Germain. In April, he surpassed Edinson Cavani to become PSG's all-time top scorer in Ligue 1.

Mbappe is only 24. He has won a World Cup and bagged an astonishing hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup final for France. Whatever happens for the rest of his career, Mbappe's name will be etched in football history forever.

At PSG, he has won five Ligue 1 titles, and the only trophy missing from his resume is a Champions League, but he has plenty of time to win it.

Mbappe's latest milestone

The Frenchman has now been involved in 400 first-team goals for club and country. In his career so far, he has played 392 games, scored 282 goals, and provided 118 assists, per Squawka.

He has scored 215 goals and provided 86 assists for Paris Saint-Germain in all competitions.

These are the numbers of a world-class player, and it remains to be seen if he can lead PSG to Champions League glory.

PSG boss sings Mbappe's praises

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on PSG manager, Luis Enrique praising Kylian Mbappe following the latter's inspired performance for the Parisians.

The Spaniard is happy that he can now count on the forward, with the 2018 World Cup winner helping PSG register their first win of the season.

Speculation throughout this summer has linked the 24-year-old with a possible move to Real Madrid - a club he ditched to stay with PSG by extending his contract a season ago.
