Despite his protracted contract dispute with Paris Saint-Germain, he has made a phenomenal start to the season. He bagged a brace for PSG against Lens over the weekend to help them get their first win of the season after two straight draws.
His brace on Saturday against Lens was his 150th and 151st goal in Ligue 1 for Paris Saint-Germain. In April, he surpassed Edinson Cavani to become PSG's all-time top scorer in Ligue 1.
Mbappe is only 24. He has won a World Cup and bagged an astonishing hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup final for France. Whatever happens for the rest of his career, Mbappe's name will be etched in football history forever.
