Nigerian international Michelle Alozie scored a spectacular goal as Houston Dash played to a 1-1 draw with Kansas City Current in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
It was her second goal of the season, having made 13 appearances for the Houston-based outfit this campaign.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 51st minute of the encounter, but the Nigerian drew her side level in the 67th minute.
Alozie received the ball in the opposition area and then raced towards the box before firing into the far corner, sending the home fans wild.
The encounter ended 1-1, and Houston Dash remains in ninth place on 20 points in the 12-team league table.
Alozie came to the limelight during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where she produced incredible performances for the Super Falcons.
She featured in all the Super Falcons' four games at the tournament, where they got to the round of 16 before England Women knocked them out, Complete Sports reports.

Meanwhile, Michelle Alozie recently said she has a crush on Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi.
The 26-year-old disclosed this during an Instagram live conversation tagged “The Three Musketeers”, which was conducted back in 2021.
