- Manchester City beat newcomers Sheffield United 2-1 to maintain a perfect start to the season
- Erling Haaland and Rodri scored on either side of the Blades' late goal
- It was the 200th win of Pep Guardiola's Premier League managerial career
Manchester City beat newly promoted Sheffield United 2-1 after late drama at Bramall Lane on Saturday to remain the only team with a perfect start to the season.
Erling Haaland and Rodri scored on either side of Jayden Bogle's late equaliser to give the champions the 200th win of Pep Guardiola's Premier League career.
The Spaniard was the fastest among the top five managers to have reached the milestone, as noted by the Premier League's official Twitter. Sports Brief looks at the five managers who were fastest to the milestone.
1. Pep Guardiola
The winner of the last three league titles, Guardiola reached 200 Premier League wins in just 269 games since he came into English football in 2016. He was unavailable on the touchline after undergoing back surgery, and it was his assistant Juanma Lillo who oversaw the win. He will continue until after the international break.
2. Sir Alex Ferguson
Legendary manager and winner of 13 league titles, Sir Alex Ferguson, reached the milestone in 322 games during his two-decade reign at Manchester United. He was the record holder until yesterday, when Pep surpassed him.
3. Jose Mourinho
It'd be almost impossible to write about Premier League managers and not include the Special One's name. He is one of the few managers who have challenged Ferguson. Mourinho fell short of surpassing the Scottish boss' record by just four games, having achieved 200 wins in 326 games.
4. Arsene Wenger

5. David Moyes
As reported by The Telegraph, West Ham's 4-1 away win at Huddersfield Town handed Moyes his 200th Premier League win in 511 games, a number he achieved at three clubs. He helped the Hammers to a UEFA Europa Conference League triumph last season.
Guardiola's furious exchange with Haaland
Sports Brief earlier reported on Pep Guardiola's furious exchange with Erling Haaland during half-time of Manchester City's 3-0 win over Burnley in the season's opening game.
The Spanish boss explained that the incident resulted from the Norwegian striker venting frustration at his teammate Bernardo Silva for not passing to him in a promising position.
Haaland reiterated the story and affirmed that he was happy with his manager's antics, as it exemplifies the fighting spirit in the team.
