Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has netted his 100th club goal as he found the back of the net in Napoli's 2-0 win over Sassuolo on Sunday.
The 24-year-old, who scored two goals in their opening league game of the season, continued with his impressive form when he scored from the spot.
Osimhen confidently placed the ball into the net’s left side from the spot kick in the 16th minute to put his side ahead.
And captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo made sure Napoli would make it six points from six in the 64th minute.

FootballIt was Osimhen's 100th career goal at the club level, having netted 20 times for Belgian outfit Sporting Charleroi and then 18 at French club Lille.
He took his tally for Napoli to 62, since joining the club in the summer of 2020.
The result ensures Napoli continues their 100 per cent record in the current season, and they host Lazio in their next game.
Meanwhile, the former Lille of France striker is yet to extend his deal with the Partenopei, demanding an improved contract.
Several clubs are on his trail, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG, Al Hilal and others during the summer transfer window, Soccernet reports.
It was gathered that the Italian club continued negotiations with the player’s representatives, hoping to get his commitment.
Osimhen reportedly desires a new contract that reflects his pivotal role in the team and includes a release clause to provide some control over potential future transfers.

FootballSports Brief earlier reported that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti recently discussed the transfer rumours swirling around Napoli's forward, Victor Osimhen, and a potential move to Real Madrid.
Osimhen, who played a crucial role in ending Napoli's 33-year Italian Serie A drought, was rumoured to be a candidate to replace Karim Benzema at Madrid, who departed for Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad.
Ancelotti expressed admiration for the former LOSC Lille centre forward, but swiftly dismissed the links, citing Bellingham's arrival as a resolution to any concerns about the striker position.
