Foster grabbed a stunning goal in Burnley’s game against Aston Villa, to make the score 2-1. The goal came at the start of the second half and impressed coach Vincent Kompany.

Sadly for the South African, and Burnley, his goal wasn't enough to inspire a comeback. Moussa Diaby grabbed a third goal for Villa as they won 3-1.

Foster was brought in as attacking reinforcement for Kompany’s team while they were still competing in the Championship.

He played 11 games for the side there and scored one goal as they earned promotion to the big league, Transfermarkt reported.

Foster has appeared in both of Burnley's opening games in the Premiership this season. Foster's goal was the first scored by a South African in 10 years. The last South African to score n the EPL was Steven Pienaar on October 2013.
