Mauricio Pochettino was recently caught up in an embarrassing moment after he appeared not to remember two forgotten Chelsea stars.

According to The Sun, Pochettino has gone on to oversee a massive squad overhaul at Stamford Bridge that has seen a host of players shipped out.

Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, and Mateo Kovacic headline the long list of players the Argentine has offloaded, with the trio joining Premier League rivals.

Others include N'Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Edouard Mendy, all of whom have since moved to the Saudi Pro League.

However, the former Tottenham boss is seemingly yet to get familiar with all the faces at Stamford Bridge.

The tactician was recently caught up in an embarrassing moment after he appeared to forget the existence of two Chelsea stars in the shape of Malang Sarr and Jamie.

During the presser after the win over Luton Town, a reporter asked Pochettino:

"I just wanted to ask about two players who have disappeared. Malang Sarr, who was on loan last season."

In his response, the Blues boss posed:

"Who?"

The reporter clarified:

"Malang Sarr, and what has happened to Jamie, who played the game against Wrexham [in the preseason]?"

Pochettino appeared to be confused and exclaimed:

"Oh my goodness."
"Malana Sarr and then Jamie? I don't know what I can tell you."
