Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi continues his rich run of form in the English Premier League after opening the scoring against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Nottingham Forest striker beat United's last man before bursting forward to net the opener after just two minutes.
Awoniyi is scoring for the third game running, finding the back of the net against Arsenal and Sheffield United in the first two games.
In a video shared on social media, Awoniyi after beating his markers had Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana on the floor before firing home.
Willy Boly doubled Nottingham Forest's lead two minutes later as a disjointed Man United chase the game.
Christian Eriksen, who was starting in place of the injured Mason Mount, pulled one back for the Red Devils in the 17th minute.
The Super Eagles striker has now netted in seven games on a row in the English Premier League, becoming the third African to achieve the feat. He joins Mohamed Salah and Emmanuel Adebayor on the list.
Awoniyi joined the English Premier League side last summer from German club Union Berlin, as reported by the BBC.
Awoniyi scores winner against Southampton
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Nigerian striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has expressed happiness and also thanked God for the chance he had to score the winning goal for Nottingham Forest, in their Premier League win over Southampton on Wednesday night, December 4.
