Bellingham, who has five goals involved in his first three La Liga games, has left teammate David Alaba delighted. The Austrian defender did not mince his words when he spoke to the media after the team’s victory.

Alaba speaks highly of Bellingham

Real Madrid looked destined for a goalless draw following a missed penalty in the 68th minute by Rodrygo Goes however, Bellingham appeared to have other ideas as he secured the victory for Real Madrid with a header nine minutes from time following a corner kick from Toni Kroos.

Speaking to Realmadrid’s official media, Alaba said:

"Bellingham is insane. I don't know what to say, I'm speechless.
He's a great kid, he's very talented and works really hard in training. He's got a lot of qualities and he proves it every week".

Club coach Carlo Ancelotti also wasn’t without praise for the English midfielder.

The gaffer quoted by Livescores said:

"Bellingham is doing very well, he keeps scoring and contributing to the team.
"Goals aren't his biggest quality but he's doing well.
"He is good off the ball, he's intelligent and his timing is good.
"He's got a lot of ability on the edge of the area."
While Los Blancos full-back Fran Garcia added: "Everybody can see him.
"He's a star. It's a pleasure. We're proud to be around him."

Real Madrid will shift focus to the next fixture against city rivals Getafe in what will be Los Meregues’ first home game at the remodelled Santiago Bernabeu.

Rafa Benitez hails Jude Bellingham

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that ex-Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez has said his former club paid a huge amount to sign Jude Bellingham because the young Englishman was good.

Benitez's Celta Vigo face Madrid on Friday night. It will be the first time he faces his former club after he was fired in 2016 by Florentino Perez. His connection to Los Blancos runs much deeper than those six forgettable months.

Bellingham has made a phenomenal start to his La Liga season. In just two matches, he has scored three goals.
