Sadio Mane celebrated his goal for Al Nassr against Al Fateh by acknowledging the sweet assist from Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 38-year-old cut open the defense of Al Fateh with a lovely backheel which found Mane for Al Nassr's opening goal at the Prince Abdulla Al Jalawi stadium.

Mane, who was netting his second goal of the season in the Saudi Pro League, pointed at Ronaldo to credit him for the goal.

In a video shared on social media, the former Liverpool striker is seen running to his teammate as they celebrated the moment together.

Ronaldo went from provider to scorer, giving Al Nassr a two-goal lead before half-time. The ex-Manchester United attacker second his second after the break as the Arab Cup champions cruise to their first win of the season.

The Saudi giants started the season poorly after losing their first two games, losing to Al Ettifaq and Al Hazm.

Mane scored in the 2-1 defeat against Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq and had a goal ruled out against Al Hazm.

Mane scores in Al Nassr win

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Senegal forward Sadio Mane is off and running once again after netting a beautiful lobbying goal for Al Nassr to open the scoring in their game against Al Fateh on Friday evening.

The 31-year-old finished off a slicky assist from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 27th minute as the Knights of Najd chase their first win of the season in the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo went from provider to a scorer as he doubled the lead for Al Nassr ten minutes later.

Mane mobbed by fans in Riyadh

Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane continues to get showered with love on the streets of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, following his move to Al Nassr.

The former Liverpool forward was ambushed by fans as he arrived for Friday prayer in a mosque in Riyadh.

The fans, who were excited to meet their idol, requested for photos and autographs from the Africa Player of the Year.
