Senegal forward Sadio Mane is off and running once again after netting a beautiful lobbying goal for Al Nassr to open the scoring in their game against Al Fateh on Friday evening.
The 31-year-old finished off a slicky assist from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 27th minute as the Knights of Najd chase their first win of the season in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo went from provider to a scorer as he doubled the lead for Al Nassr ten minutes later.
In a video shared on social media, Mane is seen converting a clever flick from the veteran forward as the Yellows race into a comfortable first-half lead.
Mane scored Al Nassr's first goal in the new season as they narrowly lost to Steven Gerrad's Al Ettifaq on the opening day. The Saudi giants are yet to win a game in the new campaign, and are currently cruising to victory at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium.
The former Liverpool winger joined Al Nassr in the summer transfer window from German giants Bayern Munich.
Mane fired up for Al Fateh clash
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Sadio Mane has sent a message to his Al-Nassr teammates ahead of their Saudi Pro League game against Al Fateh on Friday at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium.
The Knights of Najd have lost their two opening matches of the campaign and currently sit 16th on the SPL table, nine points behind leaders, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli.
The Senegalese forward, who starred for Al-Nassr as they claimed the Arab Club Champions Cup recently, believes it is time for his new club to bounce back.
